Amaranth and Lily

I’m crushed that every charm, bottom, top, down,
and strange up, he commanded.
All those quark particles
moving close to the speed of light, were his.
My up became down
and my charm transformed into strange
to the point that even my false eyelashes, were his.
That’s when strong attractions unstuck our forces
and even then, my heart jumped
in front of traffic just to feel the weight of it.
