Sadness Is The Wellspring

The sky is getting darker
The air is also cooler
I’d say –
Sadness is the wellspring
Of many things you can imagine

Alone, I’m walking on the path
I’ve walked a thousand times
When the sun is setting
I see the dust settles too
The fading daylight is passing through
Some old tangled grape vines
Where I’m standing at the moment

By the corner of the old memory
Sadness –
Eventually becomes
The wellspring of daydreams

It’s getting cold quickly
Almost chilly
With the misty spring air
The wind picks up
After the nightfall
